Digital Medics receives honorable award from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology

Today the Federal Minster of Economics, Dr. Karl-Theodor Freiherr zu Guttenberg, chose Digital Medics as the start-up of the year 2009. The jury was convinced by how the advanced technology driving the pen-based VivoLab Workstation enables radiologists to integrate complex demanding tools easily into their daily routine.

Digital Medics started to deliver pen-based high-performance workstations to the radiologists community in 2005 and until then expanded its portfolio with high-quality archiving and streaming solutions for imaging departments. Currently Digital Medics teams up with one of germanie's largest distributors for radiology equipment and prepares for its international distribution in 2010.

About The Multimedia Founders Contest

The Multimedia Founders Contest is organized by the German Federal M inistry of Economics and Technology. In this contest, participating companies are evaluated and the three most innovative and most promising are presented with a substantial financial award.
